"Hanyang’s gratitude to donors"

We will not forget that the greatest honor for donors is for all school members to remember their noble intentions and pass them on to their juniors. We will do our best to make sure that not a single penny you have donated is spent against your will. Here’s how Hanyang will remember you.
In June of 2015, “Chung Mong-koo Automotive Research Center,” with a total floor space of 12,724m2 (approximately 3,849 pyeong), opened its doors with the contributions from the Hyundai Motor Group Chairman and alumnus Chung Mong-koo.

Building Naming

If you donate toward the construction of a single building, we will name the building after you or with the name of your choice, and we will commemorate its meaning with a special monument.

The establishment of scholarships in the name of donors

When you donate above a certain amount, we will inscribe your name in the school conference hall and lecture halls according to your wishes.

Providing one-stop medical center service and a family doctor system

Donors who contribute above a certain amount will have Korea’s best doctors assigned as their family doctors, and they will be provided with an “Emergency call,” which will allow them to see their doctor right away in an emergency. Alternatively, they can use “One-stop Service,” which activates the VVIP level protocol of the medical center.

1. The above courtesy benefits are based on the amount of donation, and some courtesy details (attached Table*) may have a limited period of benefit.

2. The reduction rate of these benefits applies only to initial and re-examination fees. Detailed medical fee reductions (outpatient and hospitalization) are applied at a separate rate of reduction, including medicines, injections, beauty purposes, dementia, materials, and single-bedroom room fees are excluded from the reduction, so the actual reduction rate is set low.

3. Contributor courtesy benefits correspond to lineal ascendants and descendants, including spouses. (Medical benefits are limited to you and your spouse.)
